You can pre-register for Android apps
Google has unveiled a new feature for Android users, allowing them to pre-register for upcoming apps on Google Play.
According to Android Police, hitting the "pre-register" button on an unreleased app simply means that you'll be notified when the app becomes available.
Once you get the alert on your device, you can then choose to quickly install the app in question.
Changed your mind about pre-registering? Not to worry, because you can then hit the "unregister" button.
Terminator Genysis: Revolution is the first app to get the pre-registration treatment, the website reported.
It's a rather nifty feature, but could we expect a pre-load feature akin to Steam and consoles next?
